President João Lourenço called a few hours ago for greater protection, care and attention to children, taking into account that their well-being is a guarantee for the future of humanity. In a message marking International Children’s Day celebrated yesterday, the Head of State said the rights, interests and needs of children deserve the constant attention of public authorities, social organizations, charitable institutions and families. President João Lourenço defended that the ideal would be to treat every day of the year as Children’s Day, so as to ensure that the younger generations receive the affection, dedication and care they expect from their educators and guardians.
